Independent pensions advisors, Hymans Robertson, chose to relocate its Edinburgh premises to new, state of the art offices at Exchange Place in the heart of the capital’s most important business district. For Hymans it symbolized an important development in terms of its representation as an organisation and in the evolution of the office, tailored to its specific business activities.
As part of the design brief it was important that the environment provided flexible and progressive working with open plan spaces, touchdown zones, breakout areas and an extensive and wide variety of meeting spaces.
HAA Design specified Komfort’s single glazed Polar as the partitioning system that would meet the client’s specific needs. Its minimal form and modern aesthetics preserved the light ambiance of the building’s exterior. The partitioning incorporated full height single glazed doors whilst the banded glazed manifestation and coloured feature panels added interest to the scheme.
