40 Years of Dedication: Celebrating Tony’s Career at Komfort Partitioning
This year, we’re celebrating a remarkable milestone: Tony‘s 40th anniversary with Komfort Partitioning. From his start in the warehouse to his current role as a Estimating Manager, Tony’s journey is a testament to dedication, growth and the opportunity for a long and successful career within our company.

From the Warehouse Floor to the Estimating Office
Tony’s journey began four decades ago in the warehouse, where he was responsible for customer collections. This experience quickly led to new opportunities and he successfully moved into a Telesales role before being promoted to Estimating.
One of the most defining periods of his career involved managing a new product called KM3 Storagewall. This unique role ensured he saw the process from start to finish, covering:
- Sales and Estimating
- Surveying and Contract Management
- Order Processing and CAD Drawings
- Arranging and assigning labour, even occasionally helping with fitting on weekends
Tony returned to the estimating department, stepping into leadership roles as the Estimating Manager, and eventually being promoted to Commercial Estimating Manager after taking on all Polar and other Komfort products.
Memorable Moments and Key Projects
When asked about his proudest achievements, Tony highlighted a few special projects:
- The Cressex Schools project through BAM, which involved creating special bespoke teaching walls using the Storagewall and furniture products.
- More recently, the UBM project with its pointed glass details and the large-scale Shepperton Studios project.
Beyond individual jobs, he is most proud of creating a very capable estimating team, a legacy that will continue to serve Komfort for years to come.

Industry Change
In four decades, Tony has seen tremendous change. The industry has evolved significantly in areas like systems, pricing methods, routes to market and building requirements such as fire ratings.
For those just starting in the industry, Tony’s advice is to “be as accurate as you can be, read all relevant details and qualify your pricing offer.”
And when it comes to his lesson learned, it is simple but powerful, “Always be honest, everyone makes mistakes so just accept them, learn from them and move on.”
A Note of Thanks
We extend our deepest thanks to Tony for his four decades of unwavering commitment, his invaluable contributions to our estimating team, and his dedication to every project he’s touched. Congratulations on this outstanding anniversary!
