Komfort Partitioning has been exclusively appointed as the glazed partitioning specialist contractor for the prestigious £300 million Oriel project at St. Pancras, a flagship development by Bouygues UK.
Oriel is a joint initiative between Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Charity.

Project Design
Komfort Partitioning play a significant role in the building’s design as the sole appointed glazed partitioning specialist contractor.
Our involvement centers on the installation of glazed screens, which will form a key component of the building’s atrium spanning 10 floors, creating a bright and open central space.
Additionally, Komfort’s partitioning systems will be installed to form dedicated meeting spaces, offices, classrooms, staff welfare spaces etc. within the building’s footprint, ensuring well-defined and modern workspaces.
Bespoke Solutions
In collaboration with Bouygues, we delivered a cost-effective solution by coordinating with their sprinkler contractor to maximise the use of non-fire-rated atrium screens where possible. We also provided alternative solutions to the original curtain wall specification, resulting in further cost savings.
