- CPC (essential)
- Excellent customer service skills (essential).
Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for an experienced Driver to join our Crawley team (RH10 9RT). This role is integral to the levels of customer service and organisational strength of Komfort.
The main focus of this role is carrying out multi-drop deliveries and collections, delivering goods to customers and sites using a Moffett vehicle. Driving commercial vehicles up to 26 tonnes (relevant licence required) and ensuring the goods are delivered in excellent condition, completing necessary paperwork, and leaving customers with the right impression of Komfort.
The role will involve:
- Supervising the loading of the vehicle(s);
- Ensuring the goods loaded are correct against the customer order;
- Ensuring you comply with Health & Safety requirements both on site and in the lorry;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the internal cab;
- Provide excellent customer service;
- Check off goods with customers and obtain a signature/print;
- Maintain accurate PODs;
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner;
- Handle customer issues effectively, and ensuring any further concerns are raised to the Transport Supervisor or Planners;
- Driving the vehicle safely in accordance with the law;
- Drive within the Tachograph law and Driver hours limits.
