We are recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join our London & Southern team working alongside a team of experienced project managers.

What do we do? Komfort divide spaces by designing and manufacturing internal glazed and solid partitions with integrated door sets.

What does the role entail? The role will involve working alongside the Project manager & labour teams, to help deliver projects safely, on-time, on budget & to the required standards, maintaining a positive relationship with all parties throughout. The role will be primarily based within the M25 but could be extended to further reaching areas dependant on the project requirements. Projects will vary in size & quantity at any given time.

Job Specification

Department: Contracts Team

Reporting to: Head of Contracting

Key Accountabilities

  • Attend prestart meetings and structure the delivery of projects with the external management team
  • Attend progress meetings with the contractor & other trades.
  • Co-ordinate between site and Komfort’s Project Management team.
  • Create site specific RAMS & brief them to the installation teams, ensuring working methods are understood & abided to.
  • Carry out site surveys for metalwork and glass requirements.
  • Keeping daily records and submitting a weekly report for each project.
  • The delivery of projects on time & to the required standard.
  • The completion of projects within profitable margins required by Komfort.
  • Ensure that the Komfort’s processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitor performance on our installation partners through regular review meetings.
  • Reduction in on site errors (Survey / Install) through close monitoring / reporting and training.
  • Develop relationships to create a one team ethos?
  • Minor remedials / snagging
  • Ordering materials & arranging labour in accordance with specification & programme requirements

KPIs

  • Reduction in NCR’s generated through poor performance.
  • Profitability of projects. 
  • Snag free sign-offs
  • Increase right 1st time completion of installations.

Experience, Qualifications & Professional Memberships

  • CSCS Card (in date and in line with regulations)
  • IOSH (essential)
  • Asbestos Awareness Training (essential)
  • Manual Handling Training (Essential)
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
  • SMSTS/SSSTS- (Essential)
  • Experienced in managing on site a supply and install function (Essential)
  • Experience in project management and delivery-(Essential)
  • First Aid (desirable)
  • PASMA (desirable)

Technical Competancies

  • Microsoft/ Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent team leader.
  • Superb communicator at all levels.
